Adam Lounge Chair - Kerstin H. Holmquist, 1956
Enter the Garden of Eden with a fully upholstered armchair with a curved shape reminiscent of the curves of the body. The Adam chair was second design in Kerstin H. Holmquist's Paradiset Series (Swedish for Eden or Paradise) which includes two armchairs and a sofa and was created during Holmquist's employment with NK - Nordiska Kompaniet in the 1950s. All three designs are unique in their appearance, featuring light, clean lines. Available in three wooden leg finishes and customizable fabrics, the Adam chair adds a modern touch as a standalone piece or flanked by its two complements, the Eva Lounge Chair and the Paradis Sofa.
