Greta Grossman, 1952
Greta Grossman designed the 62 Series Dresser collection in 1952, but it was named "the 62-series" because the pieces were deemed to be ten years ahead of their time. The slender metal legs rest on small solid-wood spherical feet that are an interesting contrast to the sharp rectangular shapes of the bodies and create an appearance of lightness, almost as though the pieces defy gravity.
