Whether it is cast bronze lighting and furniture or the interiors of a residence, the work is rooted in classicism and expressed in modernism. This tension between the two is at the core of this aesthetic. Interiors contain a combination of classical detail and proportion, but rely heavily on the rigor of industrial design and minimalism. The bronze product lines—indoor lighting (chandeliers, sconces, torchieres), outdoor architectural lighting, furniture, and hardware—embrace this same aesthetic. All bronze products are manufactured using the Investment Cast Process, a technique almost unchanged since the 18th century. It is this process which allows for the wealth of detail and refinement found throughout all JBS products.
