designed by Gregoire Lafforest
Balka is a console as well as a tidy. An object as well as a piece of furniture. A kind of an elegant wader perched on thin legs made of lacquered wood. The top made of solid oak hides a soft slope the eye first won’t notice. Objects one has in his pockets when coming back home (mobile phone, letters, keys, change, business cards and so on) mysteriously glide along the rope and seem to vanish… But then reappear in a drawer all covered with leather. A everyday life object, elegant and mysterious as well as ergonomic and friendly, which turns a very simple motion into a true ritual.
. Top in solid tinted oak, legs in black lacquered beech, drawer covered with leather (120 x 44 x H. 95,5 cm)
